Hi Bill,
I'm curious to know if you performed Close to the Edge live with Yes, and if so, and audio or video remains. It is still one of my favorite pieces of music, and I'm curious to hear how it evolved either before, or perhaps more interestingly after recording, you being the evolutionary creature.
Cheers

I just finished your book "An Autobiography." I want to take this opportunity to thank you for writing this amazingly comprehensive book on your life's journey. As a musician, I can relate to many of the emotions that you have outlined so well in this book (both past and present). As an educator, I feel that this book should be required reading in the music college curriculum. However, any musician (or listener for that matter) can gain insight from reading this book.
It is an honor to have this hard cover book occupying my bookshelf. I hope that one day, I'll have the opportunity to meet you again so I can shake your hand and offer you a pen to autograph my copy of this book.
The best to you and your family and to your new journey ahead.
Regards,
Dave U. Hall

♫ Bill,
Congrats on the new website and thanks for all the great music and the always interesting blogging .. a recent query to the audience was about computing and the internet: My experience with computers started in 1990-91 when I was sharing an apartment (flat, i think the english say) with a bloke? who was also a computer programmer. I got an inside view of what that world was about and was quite taken with it.. there was something set up called a 'bulletin board' .. it was a place where programmers (they were the only ones who knew about it) and their friends could gather via a modem and chat with each other.. it was what could be described as an early version of the internet. A few years later I ended up taking a math class and a programming class in the expectation of getting involved in that world... it never worked out but did gain some interesting experiences along the way.
♫ The benefits of computing and the internet, in my humble opinion, outweigh the hazards which, as you point out, are many.. i've had many experiences both good and bad but as you point out.. if we use common sense we can avoid the pitfalls that are all around... imagine trying to find a mate via the internet! that is a huge challenge but something people are willing to put themselves through... most will end up disappointed but some will succeed. Best wishes. ♫

(my english is so bad... i try the translation : " Thank's for the quality of your work Mr Bruford. You never compromise yourself on the quality. Always this early-learning activity on the structure of music you build, with the time lag and the fantasy, with do your charm. It's a trip everytime. Neverbody replace you in the Robert Fripp's dynamic formation")
