All aspects of the music industries have, in the digital age, changed almost beyond recognition, so comments about, for example, how computers may aid, abet or hinder the performer are out of date almost as soon as they are expressed. Something similar applies to the selected interviews, in most cases almost comically earnest in their desire to set the listener straight.
